Service Description

Service Description Become a card-carrying mermaid! This is the class to take if you are interested in learning the basics of freediving while wearing a mermaid tail costume. It features all e-learning and pool-based training, no ocean swimming is involved with this certification. It includes: * PADI Mermaid Certification This course content DOES cover the PADI Discover, Basic, and Mermaid class content so, if you sign up for this class you DO NOT need the lower level classes separately. WHAT IS INCLUDED IN COURSE: * Cert (PIC) Card Fee** PARTICIPANTS PROVIDE: * Their Own Meals / Non-Alcoholic Beverages * Towels, Sunscreen, Notepad, Pencil, Sunglasses, Hat * A SECURE Swimsuit * Weight Belt with 4-8 1# Weights - Freediving / Rubber Style Belt Preferred * Wetsuit Suitable for Pool Temperatures (78-82 degrees F) * Ocean Level Bifins or Long Fins (With Dive Boots if your bifins need them) * Soft Sole Fin Socks / Swim Socks (Dive Boots will not fit mermaid fins) * J-Style Freediving Snorkel * Low Volume Mask * Transportation * Dive Jacket, Robe, or Other Warm Outer Layer * Mermaid Tail (Mertailor Guppy or Cape Cali Diveskin Preferred) SAFETY: Neoprene and/or fabric tails made by Finfolk Productions are not allowed in this class. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: * Ages 10+ * Ability to swim at least 50m continuously without any help or floatation aids without stopping, touching the bottom of the pool, or pausing. * Ability to swim down to a max depth of 15' * Ability to back float at the surface for 5 minutes continuously without touching the bottom. * PADI Diver Medical Form Signed & Completed by a Physician in the Last 12 Months ** Only Issued Under Successful Completion

Cancellation Policy

A $50 fee will be applied to any rescheduling request. Cancellations will not be refunded any non-refundable fees such as PADI eLearning fees, credit card fees, facility rental fees, pool lane reservation fees, or other external pre-paid things that were already paid for and are not returnable / cancellable for your class for any reason. Any "no shows" are not eligible for any form of refund or credit.
