Have a rental mermaid tail delivered to you at the unofficial Mermaid Swim at the Labyrinth Masquerade Ball event site in DTLA, Saturday August 16th, 2025 at 10AM.
 
Easy to use printed spandex mermaid tail rentals. At only approximately 4 pounds these tails are fun and fabulous - the perfect way to participate in a swim without dragging a wet tail around in your luggage! All tails have both the spandex skin and the neoprene plastic monofin insert. You are welcome to wear one of our rental tails on deck if you have limited swimming ability or lounge in the water / swim in it if you are a confident swimmer.
 
RENTAL PICKUP & RETURN LOCATION:
The indoor pool at the Millenium Biltmore Hotel Downtown Los Angeles, 506 S Grand Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90071
Rentals will be available for pickup starting at 10AM, rentals must be returned by 12PM.
 
EVENT NOTES:
The unofficial Mermaid Swim is free to hotel guests.
This is a mermaid tail rental ONLY. It is available to hotel guests staying at the Biltmore on August 16, 2025 for use at the 10AM indoor pool. A room key is required for access to the pool.
The indoor pool is heated to around 78-82 degrees, on average, based on past event experience. The max depth is around 5'.
LA Mermaid School has no control over pool conditions, clarity, or temperature. Venue security and/or Labyrinth staff have the right to remove any person or persons who violate their site rules. Should a patron be removed from the pool or venue, no rental refund will be given.
No parking, hotel accommodations, or Labyrinth event ticket(s) are included in tail rental price.
 
THINGS WE RECOMMEND BRINGING TO THE MERMAID SWIM:
Your hotel room key for entry
Towels
A change of clothing for wearing after your swim. There are lockers and showers with mirrors in the pool locker rooms.
Sandals
Goggles
A swimsuit to wear under your mermaid tail (e.g. fitted swim shorts, a two-piece bikini, etc.)
Accessories that are waterproof should you so choose.
 
CANCELLATIONS & NO SHOWS:
Rental reservations may be made up until Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at 12PM PST. After that point we cannot guarantee fulfillment. Should fulfillment of a specific size or item stop being available, we would refund your money to you within 14 calendar days.
Rental cancellations are available until Monday, August 11, 2025 at 8AM PST with a 20% restocking fee. After that time, no refunds will be given on rental orders placed.
No shows / failure to show up within the event time by any renter are not eligible for a refund.
 
"MERMAID" TERM USAGE:
We use the phrase "mermaid" as a gender-neutral term.
Men, women, children, nonbinary people, and other persons are all welcome to rent a tail from us.
 
KIDS & GENERAL SAFETY:
Children are welcome and must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
No life vests or life jackets are provided, if you are bringing a child and they need one, please bring one.
Swim diapers must be on any children who are not yet potty trained.
No lifeguard is on duty.
Parents / guardians are responsible for supervising their own kids.

Youth / Children's tails fit a max. shoe size of children's 11 to adult women's size 6.

Renter is responsible for the full replacement cost (inc. tax and shipping) of a mermaid tail should it become lost, damaged, destroyed, stolen, or misplaced while in their possession within 7 calendar days at market rates as set by FinFun Mermaid Tails on their official website.
