Service Description

Need fresh content for your fans? We have the perfect opportunity for you to get it. This specialty session is specifically designed for influencers. It offers a mix of proven, in-water, mermaid poses and tricks, on-camera coaching with interview opportunities, and built in time for you to record reaction or commentary shots or run several takes of a shot to give you editing options later on. We highly recommend that you bring your own person to take B-roll to maximize your content creation time. Mermaid instructors, called "Finstructors," coach from the deck of the pool and not in the water in order to maintain safety sight lines and social distancing requirements. Our Finstructor can go your own pool location in Ventura County or North Western Los Angeles County or you can come to us in the summer. The session comes with a spandex FinFun rental tail & free consumer-grade underwater camera rental. SD memory card not included - please bring your own! If you wish to rent one of our custom silicone bra tops, silicone mermaid tails, or props, please let us know and we can issue a separate quote for those items. If you are renting a silicone bra separately from us please be sure to wear bikini swimsuit bottoms as the mermaid tails must be worn with a swimsuit layer underneath for health reasons. In order to be able to use a mermaid tail you MUST be able to swim well independently and be comfortable submerging your head fully under water. We highly suggest that you arrive already wearing your bathing suit under your clothing. You should also bring sunblock, sandals, towels, goggles, and dry clothing to wear after your lesson. We do NOT provide bra tops or swimsuits. If you require a model release on our staff we must have it at least 7 business days in advance to read and approve. Any waivers or releases are subject to modification and we refuse the right to decline booking on this service if the instructor is not comfortable signing your release. If you are bringing an official / pro, non consumer grade camera, with you to the community pool in Simi Valley we will have to verify approval with the pool before hosting you there. TAILS: We provide spandex, FinFun style mermaid tails for in-class use. You are welcome to bring your own mermaid tail (such as a Mertailor Whimsy with the Linden monofin) if you have one, but its usage is subject to the approval of our instructor based on its safety, fit, and construction. Neoprene Finfolk tails are not allowed.

Cancellation Policy

A $50 fee will be applied to any rescheduling request. Cancellations will not be refunded any non-refundable fees such as PADI eLearning fees, credit card fees, facility rental fees, pool lane reservation fees, or other external pre-paid things that were already paid for and are not returnable / cancellable for your class for any reason. Any "no shows" are not eligible for any form of refund or credit.
