Private Mermaid or Merman Lesson

For the serious mermaid or merman enthusiast who wants to make the absolute most progress for their available time! Private lessons are the perfect choice for busy professionals who don't want to wait for a public class to open in order to have a fun experience. In private mermaid lessons and private merman lessons you enjoy devoted attention from one of our incredible Finstructors to specifically approach your own unique goals. AGES 6+ ONLY. Mermaid instructors, called "Finstructors," coach from the deck of the pool and not in the water in order to maintain sight lines and social distancing. SWIM ABILITY REQUIREMENTS: * Able to swim well independently, without floatation devices, doing laps in the pool for up to an hour with minimal breaks. * Be comfortable swimming fully under water. * Be able to pass the Water Competency Exam test with a score of 100%. Please arrive already wearing your bathing suit under your clothing. You should also bring sunblock, sandals, towels, goggles, a mermaid tail or monofin, and dry clothing to wear after your lesson. If you don't own a mermaid tail you can buy one on our website and ask us to bring it to your lesson. We work with you at a rented pool facility in Simi Valley (location address sent after booking) and tailor your lesson to your needs. The price includes your lesson fee, location fee, and the mermaid instructor. Free parking is available. You and a friend can train at this one price and split the lesson fee between yourselves. Personal Tail Note: Finfolk Tails made of neoprene, neoprine, or fabric styles are not suitable for this class. Please do not bring them!

Cancellation Policy

A $50 fee will be applied to any rescheduling request. Cancellations will not be refunded any non-refundable fees such as PADI eLearning fees, credit card fees, facility rental fees, pool lane reservation fees, or other external pre-paid things that were already paid for and are not returnable / cancellable for your class for any reason. Any "no shows" are not eligible for any form of refund or credit.
